Rachael and her partner, a German Shepherd rescue named Chaco, created a line of eco-friendly greeting cards called Red + Wolf. It is their aspiration to bring endangered species to light through beautiful, watercolor images while simultaneously raising money for wildlife conservation efforts, and connecting friends through the rare handwritten note. Each design is hand watercolored, digitally enhanced, and printed on eco-friendly paper. All the materials used for Red + Wolf products and their shipping are eco-friendly. Additionally $1 per card sold goes to wildlife conservation. The hope is that through this, Red + Wolf can help people stay connected, promote awareness of the need for conservation, and actually make an impact in helping to preserve our planet and the creatures in it.

Our environmentally conscious paper is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material, and manufactured using renewable Biogas Energy. Our envelopes come from an all-American paper mill. This factory has been running on 100% renewable hydroelectric energy since 1922. The craft envelopes we use at Red + Wolf are made from 100% post-consumer recycled material and are FSC ® certified. The environmental practices of this paper mill have conserved over 1,000,000 barrels of fossil fuels to date and avoided the release of more than 700,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere compared to its competitors. It also produces surplus energy for the local utility, supplying power to their community.
Our individually sold cards are sealed in a clear protective cover that is made from plant based materials and compostable. Our card sets are protected in Kraft Boxes that are made from recycled material and fully recyclable. Our rigid and kraft mailers are made with 100% recycled material (90- 97% post-consumer content), are fully recyclable, naturally biodegradable, and made in the USA. Finally, for our craft markets we have repurposed discarded wood to make our display table and used old wine boxes for our card presentation.
